All Saints Anglican Church in Attelboro MA was formed by individuals who were formerly parishioners of All Saints Episcopal Church in Attleboro, MA. Since 2003, there had been significant prayer, discussion and discernment within our parish about The Episcopal Church’s movement away from the historic Christian faith.
In October, 2006, parishioners of All Saints Episcopal Church in Attleboro were received into membership of the Anglican Mission in America (AMiA) which continues to align us with other orthodox Anglican Christians world-wide. In, January, 2007, we became incorporated as All Saints Anglican Church.
Our decision to be faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to form All Saints Anglican Church brought with it a notice of eviction from a church home of over 150 years We found temporary refuge at Fisher College where we held worship services for nine months. God remained true, and we remained steadfast.
By July 2007, we had raised enough money to purchase the former Hebronville United Methodist Church at 1188 South Main Street, Attleboro, MA. Then, on September 8, 2007, a day of glorious celebration, the Right Reverend Thaddeus Barnum of AMiA consecrated our new church home.
The church building was constructed in 1883, and in need of extensive renovations. Miracle after miracle keeps bringing us the funds, and filling the needs. Its an amazing thing to watch.
The Holy Spirit has guided us, and Father Lance has led us. Certainly, this family has pulled together in the hour of need, just ask any of us. What a God we serve.

During his years at All Saints Episcopal, his leadership in Christian education and spiritual growth were evident by The Alpha Course, What Every Christian Needs to Know, The Lesser Franciscans and a biblically-based Sunday School Curriculum. These offerings and Sunday morning worship were designed to help parishioners develop a richer and deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, as Savior and Lord.
In 2006, Father Lance left All Saints Episcopal Church to become the first rector of All Saints Anglican Church. In that capacity he has been actively involved in the ministry of the Anglican Communion Network in New England. He currently serves as Bishop Barnum’s representative to ‘Common Cause’ , a partnership of orthodox Anglicans striving for the reunification of Anglicanism in North America.
Father Lance and his wife Jackie have four girls and two boys. Today he can proudly say that their grown children, their spouses and many grandchildren fill up a lot of pews!
Father Lance looks forward to the continued growth of All Saints Anglican Church as a parish and to the growth and expansion of AMiA in concert with Common Cause churches, as together we continue to spread the life giving Good News of Jesus Christ to those who have never really heard it
